Tampa Bay’s coastlines and waterways are facing growing pollution, from plastic waste to harmful runoff
Sea turtles, dolphins, and seabirds in the Gulf regularly mistake plastic for food, leading to ingestion, internal injuries, and even death.
Entanglement in plastic debris is another major threat to marine life, especially for birds and smaller marine mammals.
